The Census Bureau's Community Economic Development (CED) HotReport is an easy to use portal to instantly obtain detailed information for local and regional areas on a wide variety of topics from a multitude of sources.
This HotReport gives communities a multi-faceted view of conditions using charts, maps, tables and dynamic text. Topics include the economy, transportation, housing, schools, and much more. The top industries and occupations as well as wages for an area workforce can be retrieved in a click or two.
The CED HotReport searches a vast online network of public databases and knits together a series of interactive web pages that incorporate calculations, maps, charts, text and tables on demand. The data are extracted each time from the source without the user having to download or store it.
The OnTheMap is tool shows where workers are employed and where they live through an interactive and geographically flexible mapping interface. The maps, charts, and reports also provide detailed worker characteristics such as age, earnings, NAICS industry sector, as well as information on race, ethnicity, and educational attainment.
The School District Demographics System provides access to school district demographic and related geographic data. The site's purpose is to provide access to information about demographics, social characteristics, and economics of children and school districts from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) of the U.S. Department of Education; to enable users to directly access school district geographic and demographic data; and to provide information about school district demographic concepts, uses, and applications to facilitate effective use of these information resources.

The Small Area Health Insurance Estimates (SAHIE) program was created to develop model-based estimates of health insurance coverage for counties and states. This program builds on the work of the Small Area Income and Poverty Estimates (SAIPE) program. Data on health insurance coverage for all counties are not currently available elsewhere.
